What are your work timings?
We operate 3 shifts Monday to Saturday. Customer support staff in each of the teams are available 24 x 7.

We have two offices in Chennai and one in Bangalore. Around 600 employees work across these three sites.

What is your technical staff’s average experience in the job?
Of our 600 employees, a majority are production staff, with an average length of service of about 5 years in the industry. |

What typesetting/composition platforms do you work on?
We use Quark, 3B2, TeX/LaTeX, In Design, Ventura, FrameMaker, and Word. The choice of platform is based on the requirements of the project and of the client. |

Once my book is in production, who will be my main point of contact?
Your project manager at Newgen will act as your primary contact throughout the production process. He or she has a team of customer support staff working to ensure that all mails are answered promptly and appropriately.

How does material travel to and from India, and how long does it take?
Wherever possible, we use electronic workflows to minimize transit time. When printed papers do need to be mailed, we use FEDEX, DHL, or UPS, depending on destination, and we provide you with the courier tracking number.
Courier time is 2 working days to the United Kingdom and 3 working days to the United States . |
